Assignment 2: Due 31 August 2009 (50 marks)
Web blog is one of the social networking platforms in this century. In this assignment, you are required to complete your blog that you’ve created in the previous lab sessions and make it as your Curriculum Vitae or Resume. The purpose of this CV is to enhance your chances when you apply for jobs after graduation or to further studies at higher degree.
Basically, you blog must contain (but not limited too):
1. Your education background
2. Your skills (programming) and talents
3. Description about your outstanding assignments or projects
4. Few posts (3 – 4 posts) about the daily life of a university’s student
5. One coverage about any selected events in UMS (refer to UMS website)
6. One video of your own recording posted at YouTube regarding ‘How To’ or your own thought
7. One post of your thought about recent issues related to higher education
8. One post about any world issues, one post about latest technology in ICT
9. Additional useful widget/add-ons
10. Any other information that will enhance your CV
The marks will be given according to the following criteria:
a. Original Content
b. Creativity
c. Clear and easy navigation
d. Ideas and thoughts (Speak your mind!)
e. Language
f. Professionalism

Assignment 1: Collaboration using Web Technology
Due 31 July 2009.
Individual
Make collaboration with 3 students who study at the universities abroad discussing how they use web technologies in teaching & learning or universities-related activities.
You can contact them through Instant Messenger of your choice (e.g. Yahoo Messenger, MSN or Skype) or by email. Write an essay not more than 10 pages about your discussions and any relevant documents or websites of their activities.
You must provide authentic prove of your discussion in terms of email, IM chat and their photo.
You must provide references or URL of their universities and details about the students you collaborate with.
Due 31 July 2009.
